For the procedure, the doctor will press a laser instrument against your skin. There might be the need to use a cooling device for protection of the skin and to avoid side effects. Small areas can be treated in minutes while larger areas will take an hour or more.

There could be redness and swelling for a while after treatment. Application of ice on the affected areas will reduce discomfort. The hairs will be lost gradually.
