This means that those that remain near the bottom of the ocean could be significantly larger. Aside from its huge size, they swim rapidly as well, which speeds reaching up to 45 mph. Sphyaena Barracuda, or simply labeled as the Barracuda is another breed that is known for its large size and ray fins. Most people who have sighted it consider it to have a frightening appearance, due to its long and compressed body. Moreover, it has a ferocious and aggressive behavior, known for attacking humans upon contact or sight.

When going angling in the Indian Ocean, you will likely encounter the Sailfish. Scientifically, it is called the Istiophorus Platypterus and it known to weight up to a hundred kilograms. When speaking of its length, majority of adults are three meters long, while the especially large ones can go up to four meters. According to records, the oldest one ever caught was four years old.

A migratory type of mackerel that can travel across the world is the King Mackarel. It was discovered in eighteen twenty nine and continues to inhabit the oceans today. However, its home for majority of the year is in the Atlantic Ocean, with some spread across the Mexican Gulf. Despite its name, it is only average in size and is not known to exceed forty kilograms.
