The HCG hormone is quite familiar to pregnant women and it is sometimes recommended to women who wish to get pregnant but find it difficult. In addition, the hormone is also taken in by people wishing to lose weight since it cuts on the fats excess in the body and results in low appetite. The hormones which should have a minimum of five hundred calories can be taken in through a pill or injection or intake of certain foods.

The first form of food that contains the HCG hormones are the lean proteins which provide the most calories. These form of proteins include; white fish, poultry, white meat and lean red meat. An individual can consume seven ounces of the lean proteins within one day. Before cooking the proteins, it is prudent to remove any forms of fat so as to maintain the calorie content.

Low calories vegetables, fruits and carbohydrates is the second form of meal to be taken in so as to lose weight and can be taken during lunch period or dinner. Some of the additives that act as flavorings include garlic, salt, mustard powder, pepper and vinegar. On the other hand, the recommended drinks include water, tea and coffee where the beverages need to have only a tablespoon of milk and should be unsweetened.

When under the diet, one is not allowed to consume any form of solid meal before lunch. Therefore, for breakfast, a person can only have tea or coffee that meet the standards set above. Lunch on the other hand, may contain a meal such as chicken breast that have been grilled along with vegetables like raw spinach and has to be around three and half ounces in size. Lastly, dinner should contain the same amount with varying proteins, carbohydrates, vegetables and fruits.

This is backed up by the fact that it is hard to fully consume all the nutrients needed in the body daily. More so, having a low calorie diet intake every day means low energy levels.

The diet plan has some noticeable side effects that need not to be ignored, such as headaches, ovarian cysts in women and breast enlargement in men. The hormone is also not recommended for anyone likely to suffer from kidney or heart problems. A very close supervision by a medic is highly advised due to the side effects likely to be experienced.
